Another e-mail about another delay. Comair is beginning to sound like a broken record.

When I received my check, nearly 40 percent was taken out between federal and state taxes. Pretty extreme.

40% wow. Anyone have this issue. My estimate says 12 hours of vacation time and on epic is says 121 hours of vacation????? I emailed HR

Vacation and severance is taxed at a higher rate...the good news is you will (well should depending on your tax bracket ) get it back when file your tax return.

My vacation payout was about taxed around 40% taxed when I left last year.

The number on epic is not correct. MP put out an email with the correct amount of vacation. If you had them pay out your vacation when you were released then it will be zero.
