Lets just say I have had a totally different experience with him, and He will cover his posterior even if it means a total lack of integrity and Honesty, I really cant believe he was a marine...

Let's all hope we get an ORD base, he made it clear he wants to be there

(I also hear he's going to the 70/90, can anyone confirm this?)

Yes, I also hope we open a base in my hometown, because that's where I also want to be. He doesn't have a bad life in JFK. His hotel is paid for, company car and positive space travel to/from ORD to JFK.

If he does go to the 70/90 he would have to come to CVG, unless (mis)management decides to base 70/90 in JFK. Let's hope not!

The furloughs are without question coming. We received a letter from our ALPA MEC and furloughs are coming with or without the SkyWest buyout. Whether or not it reaches my seniority, I don't know, but it'll be real close. Believe me I don't want to start over again somewhere else, but I don't want to be caught with my pants down either if the hammer falls.

Anyone hear anything about a 200 that apparently slammed into the ground so hard it pushed the gear into the wing? Heard that one from an F/A and was backed up by the Capt. Anyone know the story behind that?

to all those who were concerned comair is capable of still running in the event of a nuclear blast. The alternate site was tested today and we are prepared untill the crew scheduling phone line failed. The basement of concourse C will provide adquet protection. to run a successful airline.

Yeah, they didn't have any type of backup system in the past. And in the fall of 2003 they learned their lesson the hard way when the GO's power went out and Comair was literally in the dark for an entire evening. No scheduling, no disptach, no flight controllers, no SBS, no Fleetwatch, no UFES. It was a mess.
