Wasn't there supposed to be the big meeting between Freedom, Delta, and the judge yesterday? What ever happened with this? Nobody going to start any pointless rumors?

[rate of hire] > [rate of attrition] = growth

The 50 seat RJ concept is gone, and the 70 seat RJ and 76 seat first class carrying RJs are the new wave.

It sounds like 300 to 350 through the end of the year from what I have read on here. I am going to interview a week from today so I'll find out more and post it!

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know at what point during training the pilots become CASS approved? I am wondering if it takes until IOE is complete or is it just at some point during ground school?

Unless anything has changed recently you can start jumpseating once you pass your checkride.

You are correct, you may non-rev as soon as your pass benefits go through, however, you CANNOT JUMPSEAT until you pass your checkride. They told our class that you will be immediately terminated if you jumpseat prior to passing your checkride.

Or this! http://www.chicagotribune.com/busine...,2476970.story
Chicago-based United also has issued a request for proposals to other regional carriers to cover flying in the event that Mesa's situation worsens, said a person familiar with its plans. United, the nation's second-largest carrier, used Mesa for about 18 percent of its regional operations during 2007, according to Securities and Exchange Commission filings.

Chicago-based restructuring expert Bill Brandt said United and US Airways likely will find other airlines to pick up the slack if Mesa collapses because many have seen their business dealings with major airlines shrink, leaving them with excess

Default CVG crew facility

Maybe I never noticed before........maybe it's because I haven't been used in 34 days........maybe it's because I don't read this thing outside of work cuz I don't like to do work related things away from work......but how long has ASA been using our crew facility in CVG???
