So does this mean I should try and walk my friend in who has 270 hours, or will they still laugh at me?

Per the latest bid packet,

"CRJ upgrade training will pick back up in March 2008 as the recruiting effort improves."

Thats a funny way to put it, "recruiting effort", makes it sound as if the HR department isn't doing their job. There must be hundreds of 1000 hour pilots out there that are unaware that Comair is hiring! How can we help HR spread the word and increase the recruiting effort so we all can upgrade faster!!!!

Could it be that there is only so many pilots out there and that the airlines are competing for pilots? Well how do we make it more competitive?

M-O-N-E-Y that spells money!

Default Bid Packet

Alright,

I keep hearing about the JFK bid packet now but haven't seen it. When is going to be online? Any guesses?

Did the FOs move up on the seniority list?

Check the bid production and then bid release dates link under Crewmember Services on Epic. JFK FO bid packets release on the 8th and publish the 17th.

A whopping 3 people in the new hire class. I wonder how many were suppose to show up. When I got hired 16 were scheduled, and 8 showed up. Ha! I wouldn't be surprised if Comair will lower their minimums. There are quite a few guys that have been hired with less than minimums already.

Anyone else get this e-mail from ALPA
"Your MEC Scheduling Committee would like to alert all Comair pilots to management actions that will likely disrupt ALPA’s ability to review the line bidding and award process."

Doesn't surprise me anymore why people are leaving this place left and right....
