anymore news about this furlough deal, cuz I'm trying to decide if its worth applying somewhere else in the meantime so when they do drop the "F" bomb I have a place to go, I have 100 or so below me

Ah the hell with it. Everyone should be preparing for furloughs. This whole, "have you heard x company is furloughing?" crap is getting annoying. Things are so variable that to even predict what will happen next month is impossible. On the same token, things can improve for anyone, as well.
We should have a thread for people who have actually received a letter.
Either way, here is the obligatory, "good luck," to anyone who may get such furlough notice. Regardless of whatever position/company/job we're in, we're all in as much **** as the others. I'll believe something when I see it happening and, again, good luck to everyone.

If they are hurting for money so bad they should fire who ever writes that crap. Does anyone even care if we have that? Does anyone even read it?
Everything in there is a repost of an article already on EPIC!! We probably pay somebody like 35,000 a year to put that piece of garbage out every week. It probably cost a few thousand just to print it every year too.

I don't think who ever puts that together makes $35k for doing it ( at least I hope not). I'm betting someone started this a long time ago and it has morphed into their job now along with a ton of other things. They probably don't make squat! And I do occasional read it when I'm sitting ready and really bored.
