Wow, lots of the same guys that got lines in JFK this month got one for August as well. I thought for sure I'd be on reserve again, so I bid that way. And I'm stuck with every trip being in YUL or YYZ! I'm sick of Canada! And I'm kicking myself for not at least bidding for a certain layover. But, at this point, I'm happy to have a line for another month.

I flew ems helos for almost 10 years. The only thing worse then being furloughed would be having to go back to ANY helicopter job especially EMS. Also unless you have at least 2000 hours pic rotor, you can pretty much forget a ems helo job.

I just hope we don't get furloughed too long.
