Ive got a question about vacation time. This new memo out says I have 2 weeks vacation. How do I use it? And is this 2 weeks from this year or is it for next year?

With all these rumors about us merging with Mesaba and/or Compass after the DL/NW merger..I have to wonder if Mesaba or Compass pilots are paying into a merger fund like us.

If not, could that be a huge advantage for us?

Any of you Captains want to check maestro for me on reserve availability list and tell me if there are ANY captains sitting A1? I have it....... last time i sat a1 there was not a captain on that window (aka no ferry flights bc no captain aka i didnt fly once)

Sept 1st....23 reserves on and AVAILABLE. 6 are Long Call........40% of 23 is around 9......do they not balance until the night before? many days i look at are not balance

I don't think they do, LCs are useless to the company, so why actually follow the contract?

this is another thing that ALPA should be keeping tabs on, i've noticed this too..and it's like that almost EVERY single day

Last month I had LC... every day before my LC window they would change it to an A2 or A3. So by the time the month was over I didnt sit a single LC day. Sounds like planning should be the next to go in the whole job cuts thing.
