off topic. Ive been told BOS-YUL for the loe. shoot me a pm if anyone has any info on the what kind of problems they've been giving. thanks.

Depends on the scenario/instructor. I had TCAS RA, Eng oil press warn msg (pressure is good, disregard the message, run the qrh anyway), Cat 2 approach, go around, flaps fail 45.

Note: This is for CRJ200 only. LOE varies by instructor.

MV:

Airport: BWI – Baltimore/Washington International
Plates: VOR/DME RWY 22
ILS RWY 10
  • Low Visibility Takeoff.
  • Non-Precision Approach VOR/DME RWY 22 to Missed Approach. Published Hold.
    • CANPA
    • Green Data
    • No FMS
    • Remember 5 T’s and Airspeed when doing Hold.
  • ILS RWY 10 (Hand Flown).
  • ILS RWY 10 (Single-Engine / Hand Flown).
  • V1 Cut.
  • V1 Stagnation.
  • Visual Approach (with tailwind).
  • Windshear on Take Off.
    • Remember P.I.C: Performance, Ignition, and Configuration.
  • TCAS RA.
  • CFIT.
LOE:

Oral:
·Memory Items (100%)
·Limitations (100%)
·Dispatch Release
·Weather (T/O Alternate, Destination Alternate, 3585, Ops Specs, etc.)
·Performance (Load Manifest, Runway Analysis Manual, Charts)
·Systems (Synoptic Pages)

Flight: Boston (BOS) – Montreal (YUL)
Captain: NFP; First Officer: FP

Depart RWY 27 @ BOS (Don’t forget to brief Single-Engine out Procedure)
Arrive ILS RWY 06L @ YUL w/ Missed Approach.

·Do what you do every day on line.
·Standard Calls and Callouts.
·Use good CRM.
·Keep Flight Attendant in the loop.
·Don’t let ATC rush you!

Possible Failures:
·HYD SYS 1 and SYS 3
(Note: A lot of people call for the wrong QRH! Make sure you call for the combined HYD SYS 1 & 3 QRH)
·FLAPS FAIL
·SNAKES ON PLANE

Other Possible Scenarios:
-TCAS RA En-route
-Passenger Evacuation
-Passenger craps himself.

SNAKES ON A PLANE
(1) Airplane Controls.......................VERIFY AS OPERATIVE
snakes on plane may interfere with cable and hydraulic systems

F/A AND/OR EITHER PILOT INCAPACITATED DUE TO SNAKE BITE
YES
| (1) The remaining crew member will hide body, as to not disturb the | passengers
| (2) Land at Nearest suitable airport
| (3) Do not go to the bathroom, without looking where you are aiming
|
| NOTE: SNAKES MAY BE LOITERING IN LAV, WAITING TO BITE ANYTHING DANGLING
NO
(1) Pull the Samuel L. Jackson Emergency Lever
(2) Put on oxygen masks and ear plugs to nullify the "swear" factor
(3) Do not under ANY circumstance, say "what"
(4) Do not say what, even if you're asked to say it "one more time"

Prior to Landing:
(1) Royale with Cheese..............ORDER
(2) Snakes...............YELL AT THEM AND TELL THEM YOU'RE TIRED OF THEM EXISTING ON YOUR PLANE

I was just looking at today's operational briefing, and the numbers confused me a bit. Maybe I'm just reading it wrong. But do we really only have 656 departures today? Have we really shrunk that much?
