Maybe you should re-read your signature line at the bottom of every one of your posts

The point is that XJTs contract, just like everone elses, is negotiated in part with the other regionals contracts in mind. You knock RAHs when it was above and beyond xjt's at that time. Since then yall have had negotiations and now have one that is better. When RAH's comes out it's almost certain that it will be better. This childish "Ours is better than yours" is just a product of it being more recently negotiated. I don't really see any of the RAH guys going around and pointing at yours talking how you're bringing the industry down once ours is negotiated. Do you really want to keep talking it up, talking down to our group, only to set yourself up for a fall later down the road when our new one comes out? We aren't Mesa or freedom or GoJets so lay off with it already it's annoying.

while i agree that saab loves to talk about the xjet contract and their industry leading 50 seat rates, i dont see where he goes around putting RAH or anyone else with above average rates down. maybe in defense of your personal attack on him he may have gotten defensive, but in the grand scheme hes not critical of anyone else besides the standard mesa and go jets plus colgan.

you two need to move on, this back and forth match is getting silly. lets get back to things that matter, skywest and colgan getting unionized and these guys with sjs wanting to fly crj 1000's at the regionals.

Well, sort of true, sort of not true. Like I said, when RAH go their contract, it was good for the guys at RAH compared to what they had before.

If you compared it to other peer contracts, even one that was negotiated after 9/11 (AWAC), it was not good for the overall regional pilot groups. It wasn't a leap forward or a raising of the bar. It didn't "jack up the house" as it's termed in Flying the Line Vol.1.

Would you say that MESA's last contract was negotiated with OTHER regionals in mind? It was good for MESA pilots compared to what they had before, it helped defeat the Freedumb debacle. But just like RAH's, not good for other regional CBA's as a whole.

Don't forget the ERJ vs. CRJ.

Didn't mention anything about "Why does everyone hate GoJets?"

This is such a dumb thread. Express jet is sooooo great. Low pay,
crappy lines. I better write to the fellas back home and let them know what a great oppotunity is coming their way.
It ain't gonna happen girls.
