Default Job Fair Vs. Interview

Is there a difference between an interview at a job fair or one at the HQ? I mean do you still do the sim and tech parts at a job fair? It would seem that the tech part you could, but maybe the sim may not be able to be done. Any insight?

I attended the recent AviationInterviews.com job fair in Chicago. Bear in mind, each job fair may be a little different. Certainly there's no sims there. Some airlines were conducting one-on-one interviews in a private room, most were simply taking your resume, chatting with you for a few minutes, taking some notes, and said they would get back in touch with you later.

The most important thing is that you have a contact, they can associate your face with your name, and it's up to you to followup and harass, oops I mean be politely persistent in following up with them to show that you want to job and they should bring you in for a full interview.

Depends on the company and the situation. I have heard of people going to job fairs and getting an interview, then a job offer all in the same day. What I have seen by and large is job fair, phone call to interview, interview, then hired or not.
