Well, I don't think so. And I think you mean "hole" and not "whole".

People have the right to express themselves at this site without any one user telling them not to. You might want to expand your argument beyond "shut your pie whole". That could lead to meaningful dialogue, the "whole" reason this site exists....
My point is that I get tired of listening to hypocrites. The pilots who complain about Walmart and low airline fairs. But then they buy the cheapest pilot shirt, pants and shoes they can find; the cheapest pubs bag. I used to hear it from my brother all the time, and it was not dialog, it was "preaching" from a hypocrite as he was the type of person I just described.
I had to listen to foreign officers in Africa when I was assigned to the UN complain about consumerism, then ask me to buy all the stuff they could not get in their countries when I went home on R&R. Again, hypocrites.

I'm going to open my pie "HOLE" (yes thats how its spelled) and say if I have control over the purchase, I buy American. I have a pilot shirt/pants made in Missouri, shoes made in NY, a flight case made in Texas, underwear made in USA and a tie made in the good ole USA. The only reason I fly a Brazilian made plane is because I didn't buy it. I've bought the cheap stuff at Walley World and thats what it is...cheap. I'd rather pay a few extra dollars for better quality and have it last longer.
I don't preach buy American, I just do it.

American "quality" stinks. If I'm looking for quality I look to asian products.

Because thats the ONLY thing built in America....cars and electronics. I'll give you the electronics argument but the shoddy American car of the '80s is no more.
