I'll be in that class too - I'm 25. I'd prefer the 200, but I wouldn't mind too much if I got the ATR.

Hey bite your tongue! That would be the very reason the company would seek to pay pilots the same to fly both!
UPS pays the same regardless of type of aircraft. I don't hear anyone *****ing about them. So why would someone ***** about a regional doing the same thing? |

Because UPS doesn't pay monopoly money like a regional. At a regional, people want and need all they can get. If flying the 700 vs the 200 will pay slightly more, that's great.

Probably because they don't want to fly an old ratted out turboprop. Kids now days want to fly JETS. Jets are cool. |

But that being said, if I do get put in the ATR I am not going to complain about it, its turbine time regardless, and I have a regional airline job. So what is there really to complain about? Plus I hear all the ATR guys are the funnest to be around at ASA. |
Yea I forgot, sorry. What am I doing? I must be genetically inferior to those barbie jet pilots :(
