Because UPS doesn't pay monopoly money like a regional. At a regional, people want and need all they can get. If flying the 700 vs the 200 will pay slightly more, that's great.
So, are you saying that I don't want and need all the money that I can get just because I do not work for a regional? |
I'm just saying you get paid a fair wage, we...not so much.

ehaeckercfi, i got a question for you.
I was offered my class date at the end of October, and my class date is coming up in a couple of weeks, when should i expect the paperwork for training? |

Who says it's fair? I think I'm underpaid. |

I love this thread... haha. :D
I've been getting 700 bypass pay ever since I ended probation on the ATR. To think I fly the ATR and I get paid notably more than 200 FO's. Not to mention I took a CRJ training course! Which if you think about it is not a waste of money even if you get the ATR because you won't be intimidated about going from ATR FO to CRJ Captain. Initial upgrade types are the hardest you'll ever take, I believe the FAA is required to observe your ride and you cannot make any mistakes. Whatever you do don't take an anti prop mentality to ASA, it won't do much for you and most CRJ captains flew the EMB120/ATR. Also the ATR upgrade is shorter than the CRJ with the same pay. N2M the training department will make you fall in love with the plane. broncoflyer8912, if you don't get it a week before your class call the hiring dept and confirm it was mailed. ;) |
Ok thanks flybywire, I figured it had to be by a week before the class, so I haven't quite reached that yet, I guess I'm just anxious for the packet to arrive, because I am really excited to get down to Atlanta and start training

How old r u?

Ahh, cool. Well you're at the age for the ATR, but it just hit me that ASA's classes are not running full so you may get the RJ. I'm not sure how they will work the disto with a partially full class.
Good luck. |
