You would think that they could get rid of the 18 non-stop RJ flights during the day and replace them with 737s. But I guess that would be considered "regulation"? As long as W. takes of it, it will turn to gold! Does anyone else think that with all of the technology we have we could have a more efficient system?

Maybe if the likes of Elizabeth Dole who killed efforts to modernize 15 years ago hadn't been put in power we wouldn't be in this situation.

The problem is the number of scheduled departures at the airport, not the routes once the plane is airborne Unless he can sh$t some runways really fast, I don't think this will help.. I could be wrong though

Cruise climb, I think you're right on the money. I don't see the airspace as a problem. It's the sheer volume at all three international aiports.

If RJ's are limited comming into jfk/lga and replace with larger planes (73's) then for every 2 RJs that were on the ground there, you have 1 73. RJ's shouldn't fly over 500 miles into the some of the busiest airports in the world. Consolodation of flights would certainly help.

Yes, lets mandate who can fly what where and when....oh wait, I think they called that regulation. Everyone knows it's not the rj's at lga that are the problem, it's those pesky turboprops (I kid, I kid)
