maybe they are getting hired there at low time, pass the 121 training, fly for about 3 months, then apply to skywest..........that in my opinion would make them smart, not the idiot ya'll so claim they would be.........each has his/her own agenda, and if they can use MESA to their benefit, go for it!!!!
I know people who have done this...but you have to dodge the training contract somehow.

Who are they going to send to collect it? Plus, how is a guy making $25,000 a year with college debt, rent, food, etc going to pay for it? Screw em', I have spoken with people who left there who are still waiting for their last paycheck. Why would even rampers, gate agents, etc. want to work for them? What a joke. I get disgusted every time I look at one of their pilots just thinking about what they have to go through and why they stay there. And yes, most Mesa guys I have come across have been nice. Although we had some guy jumpseat and not say hi or thanks. I guess since he was on United Express and can non-rev he chose to go that route. I only do that with gojet. Maybe he thought he was mainline? Those guys never say hi.

I think the bottom line is that JO just doesn't care. He doesn't have to. He's already made his millions, and does not have to work for the rest of his life if he does not want to. He has proven time and time again that he doesn't give a rat's butt about his employees. He could care less if Mesa continues to exist. Mesa will only succeed as long as pilots are still willing to go there. Hopefully, as word continues to get out about Mesa, they won't be able to hire anyone. We can just hope and pray for that day!

In order to maintain required operational control and ensure the highest level
of safe and reliable operations, the SOC must be able to provide the Pilot-in-
Command and other personnel who perform operational functions with
access to the necessary information for the flight. To accomplish this, the
SOC will use several methods to positively contact crews, including but not
limited to dispatch release notes and SELCAL. This positive notification must
be complied with per instructions as detailed in these messages. Please refer
to GOM Chapter 3, page 3.4, Section 3, Paragraph C, and Chapter 4, page
4.28, Section 35 for guidance on this subject.
The Captains signature on the dispatch release indicates that you are
responsible for the release and its entirety. If a message is sent for First
Officer or Flight Attendants, you will be held accountable for providing the
information to those crewmembers. Vigilance with regards to SELCAL
monitoring is mandatory, as this is the only method of maintaining operational
control over our aircraft in the enroute environment.
