Is it just me, or does the water smell really funny in the showers at Walper Terrace?

Best hotel so far for me was MSL, I only did half the highspeed, so I actually got to spend some time there.

So, Kristin Braam in Mesaba HR told me to call her to schedule the interview with Mesaba once I applied for my passport. She called me with the interview offer last week. I think she just got back into town today. I called her several times today but she never returned any of my calls, I sent her an e-mail as well. I really don't want to keep blowing up here phone and stuff. Anybody have any Ideas? Should I keep trying to call her or just wait for her to call me back?. She said that I could reschedule it once I do the passport "thing", which I have. I'm just hoping I still have the chance to interview.

Just out of curiosity what were your times and how long did it take to get a reply? I just sent an app in yesterday after being convinced by some people on another thread. (400/20)

You should get a call..... I have 350+ tt,40 mulit..and CFI, I got a call about a week and a half later. So with those times you should get a call too. From what I've read, its a growing company and are loosing a lot of pilots. My #1 choice, hoping for the SAAB in MEM.....

Not loosing a lot, but expanding a lot.

You get paid full trip guaranty. In otherwords, if you were on a 4 day trip that paid 27 credit hours, you get that pay even if you don't fly plus perdiem for time away from base.

For all of you considering Mesaba, now is probably the best time to come over because Mesaba is growing like no other carrier I have ever seen, as the upgrade time in Saab is down to street Captain. If you have ATP minimums and prior Part 121 experience even if it is few months, you are almost guaranteed a Saab Captain slot right from the start. Jet upgrade time is coming down really fast too.

It is almost certain that Mesaba will wind up with close to all the options NWA has on CRJ900s which is 94, and considerably more than 17 CRJ200 in the next 12 to 24 months.

i do not think you are surely going to get the street captain position with the bare minimum. I think they are looking at higher quals, more than a few months 121 time. From what I understand they are being pretty selective on street captains, not just taking people to fill spots.

Bold prediction LS... the compass guy I recently sat next to on my commute was just as bold in saying all the growth was going to them (because the pax just love the Ejets...bla bla bla)

I've also heard a pinnacle guy boldly say they would get some NW 900s as well because they'll already have a 900 program set up and NW wouldn't want to put all their 900s in one basket for leverage purposes.

3 groups...all with bold predictions.

i would say pinnacle has the slightest chance

unless nwa pulled 17 cr2 to be replaced with cr9

i heard somewhere that pinnacle at MSP was being phased out with mesaba taking over all the msp based 200's

lots of rumors all over
