I agree Tprops are great and I am glad I didnt go right into a jet, however, I have 650 tprop (440 SIC, 210 PIC) and I do have SJS.

From BigSky, our CAs have been going to AirTran, Alaska, Northwest, Spirit, Southwest, and others. I would say that only about 1 in ten Captains that leave BigSky goes to another regional. Most likely because they don't have enough PIC to go to a major.

At BigSky, that may only mean you have to taxi a few hundred feet.

With all this being said, it looks like a lot of people are starting to leave BigSky (including F/Os) to go where ever they can. First officers that were going to upgrade within a month or two are interviewing at places like Republic and Horizon. Things were really going well for a while in BOS (July-August), but have rescently taken a steep dive. I would hesitate in recomending BigSky to a friend.
