No we have 100% to a max of 6%; but we get almost 4-5K/yr in bonuses, one of the most generous stock purchase programs around plus much more.

BTW, I heard the new pay package that was just agreed to by SAPA and is going out to the pilot group for a vote on Jan 2nd includes and increase in our 401K match plus improved COLA; it will probably be around 10%.

Kool-Aid? Bottoms Up!

That IS a good deal, and good for you. BTW, the whole 'our airlines are different so we shouldn't compare pay' is corporate propaganda. QX tried that garbage on us when we were negotiating back in '01. We wanted parity with the rest of the regionals (Comair was the highest at the time, I believe). The company said, "Oh, they are different so we can't compare." Now that we are near the top, guess what the company wants to do in negotiations? COMPARE us to everyone else!!! Pretty comical, really. Their management-speak for dragging us into the race to the bottom was that they wanted to make our wages "Migrate to Market." Which is why we all now have flight bag stickers that say, "Migration is For The Birds!"

Good pay for any of us can only help all of us! Best of luck, guys!

Merry Xmas!

Yes, that's what stinks about the rest of the industry not keeping up with the Jones.
I've heard the same from a few other Horizon pilots, don't let Mgmnt win.

Good Luck.

If I remember correctly, I'm not to be critical of ALPA, 'cuz in your words "this is a pilot's forum".

I've said it before, delete me any time you want. Since you didn't delete me the last time I asked, I guess I'll continue to speak my mind until you do.

Are you talkin' to me?

I don't delete people. If you'd like to stop posting, that's up to you. If you'd like to be removed, send a PM to HSLD.

Like I said before, feel free to speak your mind (didn't I just say that above?) The Skywest threads get flamebaitish pretty quick and I'm trying to keep that from happening to this one.

(mod hat on) You can be critical of ALPA to your hearts content as long as long as you all can discuss it in a professional manner.

(mod hat off) You make yourself look bad, as a SAPA rep, with the manner with which you post at this site. It's not what you say, it's how you say it and the fact that you defacto represent SAPA with every word you say here. That would be my opinion.

TonyWilliams is a SAPA rep???????????????

Oh boy......

Can you tell us why you all screwed 600 Brasilia pilots out of a raise? I emailed all the head honchos of "SAPA" asking them that question and not one of the weasels had the decency to respond. How could you guys even bring a proposal like that to the pilot group for a "vote"? That took some nerve.

Although I completely agree with you and I applaud your efforts, TW started with SKW back on Feb 12, 2007 which was several months after the BS pay proposal went into effect; therefore he had nothing to do with the anal raping of our Switch B*tch (EMB) pilots (I was one at the time). Besides, SAPA a puppet for Mgmnt, so do you actually think that one outspoken individual could have prevented this injustice? Sadly NO!
