No one would be upset if:
Skybus was not growing
Virgin America was not growing
Mesa was not growing
Gojet was not growing
So why would you be upset when Lynx is not growing?
I would rather see a quality regional get their flying. That is definately not Lynx.

I'm pretty sure you don't know the first thing about Lynx. How can you judge quality on something that has been flying for less than 2 months. While there has been some huge miscalculations in budgeting and planning, I truly believe that most of the Lynx management acts in the good faith towards its employees. They seem to be aware that the works rules and pay rates are unacceptable. They don't seem interested in watching a large number of their pilots (who were trained on entitlements from Bombardier) walk out the door. They know unhappy people will cost them big $$ in the long run. Well at least I hope they know.

Just to note, everyone I've talked to hasn't heard a thing about this, so I'm going to save my jugement until I heard something official. Nunn was quoted in the paper saying they would decide in the next few months whether they want the options and I'd go with that.

In additional news there will be some upgrades soon. How many? I don't know. Apparently Lynx is short on the captain list.

So whats this mean for their route structure and cities they serve? How many aircraft do they have flying now? They sure were quick to cancel the XJT flying. Gotta wonder what their plan is if they defer deliveries for over a year AND cancel the contractor that was flying the routes for them.

They have nine aircraft on the propery, number 10 is on its way. The current fleet more than covers the current flying and probably could absorb some more.
I'd expect to see the current destinations be adjusted and some shorter leg destinations added (COS, ASE, EGE???).

ASE and EGE, I don't think so.
Not saying the Q can't perform but I don't believe it can hack ASE.
That and those markets are already saturated.
UAL is running A-319's into EGE 4 times a day, supplemented by Dash-8-200's.
ASE is non stop CR7's. Literally. There is one every hour, both ways.

Gee, if you work at ASA or Eagle, then I'm pretty sure you'd think the same about RAH and TSA. Let's stop the "my regional is better than yours" bs. All regionals blow. I personally would rather see mainline get all the flying. More better jobs for everyone...
