jetjock i'm not trying to start a fight but everyone has there reasons for going where they do. 1. lack of knowledge (people going to gojets, etc.) 2. because thats the first they were offered 3. its where they live (thats why i took skyway there was no skywest) yes we do have lower pay right now but it isnt horrible, plus its also 4 years old, where most contracts are younger, or have had pay raises recently

no not bashers, some of us are still alittle sore about the entire thing. not that its skywests fault its our company and everyday we get to see your jets flying the routes we used to. so its kinda like being kicked after we're already down

Dash-8's are bigger than the 328, so all in all I don't think our rates on the 328 at least are all that bad...on a pretty old contract that is up in 7 months.

Ya lost me on that one. I want more money too, my wife and I don't have a lot of it, but I don't look down on people who make a choice to earn less and live where they want / do what they want. What's wrong with being a lifer at SkyWest? If you're gonna be a lifer anywhere it would seem that's one of, if not the place to do it. Tons of bases, good pay, good management relations, good history of growth, etc.
