The hearing on the 14th was cancelled by Capitalsource. They have decided that since the judge has ruled in Era's favor during every court hearing, they are just wasting their time and resources. The next hearing is scheduled on the 6th, but it is expected that that hearing will be cancelled too.
Sorry, those upgrades might have to be delayed a little while longer.

Hey, I want everyone to get upgraded as soon as practical, makes us better pilots.
This will still lead me back to the idea that it would be better for both airlines (Penair and Era) to merge somehow. Lower operating costs for a larger airline, better negociating for contracts (fuel, mx., etc) and a little better pull with AS. They will supposedly be getting their first 400 combi (although I've heard that is will be an all freighter) in April and the rest will start coming every 4 months? after that. Except that they are going to replace 9 200s with 5 400s. That leaves some openings in the schedule, that at least to date, haven't been offered or addressed by either company. And believe me, if either one of the companies were offered anything, we would know, because that news would spread faster than ...
I'm not trying to create argument or tension, just my opinion.

except of the 9 1 was a maintenence spare and 1 was a hot spare so they scheduled 7
when they pulled out of Dutch that was about a plane and a half
so they really can fly their schedule especially since the 400 is so much more reliable.
I can't see Danny giving any control away so a merger is probably out of the question
also the aircraft type would have to be adjusted would it be SAAB's or Dashes
we already have 7 SAAB's so it makes more sense to get rid of the dashes
meaningless questions in my opinion it wouldn't happen

Next court hearing is March 6th. Should be a good one (for Era that is).
We need to hire more pilots too. Might be tough with the Bankruptcy stigma, but we have found them in the past with other stigmas. Maybe the sell will be better after the 6th.
