I was a little over the top for that I apologize. Just curious, what school did you go to?

well since a lot of the guys here know where i went i wont say the specific school. the reason being is that if they saw what school i went to they would know who i am and inturn know my source and i dont want to get any one in trouble. i will say this. pvu was a cross country for me, just barely.. i think it was 54 miles if i remember right... did you go to uvsc? the first 20 or so times i flew down there were white knuckle events,, nothing like being number 8 on the extended downwind over the lake huh trying to find a white katana against the snow in the mountains?? after they got the tower though things seemed to calm down, but i left about 1 month after it opened.

I did go to UVSC. Yes PVU was a fight for your life everyday. Even after the tower but to a lesser extent. I am pretty sure I know where you went.

so yeah i dont have anything against skywest, and never have. most of the bones i pick on here are what my buddies tell me. as far as quality of life and actual pay i have never tried to compare pinnacle and skywest. infact the reason i wrote what i wrote is because one of my buddies at skywest and i were chatting on im when i saw that someone posted the rates. i sent them to him and he is the one who actually got ****ed because our forced rates where almost as good as the recent vote you guys had. so like i said most of my skywests posts are straight from your fellow pilots. and yeah i have a lot of friends from uvsc. lots of you guys would come up and get checked out in our planes and fly our sim. its to bad what happened to uvsc. i heard they fired the dean that built the school up and that he started a school down in spanish.

hahaha, well now that we have taken this thread in a whole new direction i will try and bring it back. these pay rates will never stand, and we will never vote for something that will pay the fo's the same rates...

Here comes the bash skywest thread of the night. You can compare payrates all you want but we make more on our w2s than 9 out of 10 of the regionals out there with our bonuses and rewards not to mention we don't get taxed by alpa for 2%. Flame On

Skywest tops out at 105.

I am not defending Skywest. They are one of the lower paid 900 operators (in terms of straight rates), along with Mesaba. These rates are terrible.
Good luck Pinnacle.

Both sets of rates are pathetic, buts whats more pathetic is that SkyWest pilots agreed to their rates. The race to the bottom continues.

Kinda hard for ya to prove that, huh? Enjoy your 1% COLA raise.

Can someone post the rates for the 900 for each carrier that flys that a/c so we can do some side-by-side comparisons?
