Colgan Q400 Routemap

has anyone actually meet a colgan pilot that says he's not going to the Q because of the pay rates. In my recent experiance talking to guys most of them dont want to go for other personal reasons, (family, commuting to ewr etc) but i havnt meet anyone who says because of the pay. And i think the reason for that is that for saab and especially beech pilots its a big pay raise, (something like 20/hr from beech to Q)

It's silly to vilify one particular airplane. It's all about the contract to FLY that airplane that matters. I make $90/hr to fly the 400, which is a decent per seat rate of pay.

What about the rumor -- and as far as I can tell it is just a rumor that CHQ is pulling out of IAH begining in December of this year, as Republic is wanting out of the 50 seat business all together?? -- if that happens it seems to be timed correctly with the rumors that the Q is coming to IAH and the capacity seems to match the total options that Colgan has (45). Any thoughts?

Speaking of Republic, I hope no one on here bashing Colgan guys for flying the Q400 on mainline routes is a Republic/Shuttle pilot. As they swap out 170s for 175s for Delta, I would think a lot of this ire would be directed there.
