No, I'm smarter...I bartend and serve and make about 5 times more than that on a short shift. Not to mention I get to pour my own drinks.

I would try to work at a restaurant once or twice a week if you can find a place that will be flexible with you. Don't bus or barback unless you just want beer money.

Let's see - you can look up affiliate marketing - dental plans, online pharmacies, even payday loans. I've made a little side money as an affiliate. Some affiliate sites will provide a web template for you to use.

A neighbor is a reservationist at home for Express Jet. Another friend does online teaching. Cruise real estate sites and see what great buys there are on fixer-upers or foreclosures right now and become an investor or an agent. I've seen ads for online jurors - don't know how legit that is. Hope that helps!

Here's another idea - we had a new f/o at ASA that stole headsets and sold them on ebay. Of course if you get caught like he did...

The National Guard is always looking for good pilots. Officer pay is not bad and can provide a huge supplement to your regional salary. Just call you local National Guard office.

I'm a so-so pilot, at best. When does the NG look for that?

The guard is always a good idea. We take FMS monitors and make them pilots again.

Isn't there an age cutoff to join the guard as a pilot, or is that just active duty?

Maybe Texas sets it by school district. Conroe ISD pays the rates I stated before. Sounds like anyone in the Houston area should sub in Tomball!
