RJ Bridge for Eagle
#1
Just got hired by Eagle a few days ago. Since my times are 550/50, they want me to attend a 3-week RJ transition course at either Regional Airline Academy (RAA) or FlightSafety. The course is entirely paid for, so there's no out-of-pocket expense on my end.
I'm just wondering if anyone has done this RJ transition and what their experience was. I have not heard much about RAA, but FlightSafety has a good reputation. Any feedback on either of these schools would be great.

If I had to choose I will go with FlightSafety, better training and curriculum, have a couple friends trained a FlightSafety and they were happy.
Could you tell me how did they offer you this job?
Im living in san diego and will like to apply to AE but I have my commercial and instrument from argentina, got a work permit last week, and now IM training to get FAA licenses.
My tt will be around 650 by the time I finish my training,so I need to wait to send my resume.
Do you think they will look at my resume?

I'm 99% sure it goes "100 multi + RJ course = no TT req." and "50+ multi + RJ course = 400 TT req."
I know this b/c I know people who interviewed at Eagle after they took the RJ course who had 400TT and 50 multi. And they're getting their couse re-imbursed (with an 18 month commitment, of course).

The class is not a reimbursable class. Eagle pays for everything up front. I have to pay for food. But travel, lodging and the RJ course is on Eagle's dime.
