So now we got to the point in the thread where people are defending the scabs with the feed their family argument
They are not scabs. They did not cross anyones line.
So you guys don't think that the TSA pilots who were sticking it out for higher pay weren't trying to feed their families. I'm afraid they were but they were trying to hold out for that better pay until the scabs (TSA pilots who went to gojets) crossed the union lines and cheated everyone out of the higher pay. I agree management are scum because they thought of the gojet idea, but that doesn't mean that pilots had to buy into it and sell out. Thus, the pilots who cheated Everyone out of the higher pay are no better than management themselves.
You should have taken the flying, Then worked for higher rates. You fell on your sword over a few dollars. I mean come on, you were dealing with Hulas what did you expect?
The Gojet argument isn't about them taking TSA's flying, its about them willing to work for less and cheating everyone at TSA out what they have worked hard for.
TSA didnt even provide United express flying until they lowballed ACA flying. So Gojet cheated me out of what I woked so hard for. So how could you lose what was never really yours?
As far as the supposed airlines taking other airlines flying argument, I would agree with you. I believe thats what happens in a free economy, when a contract is up and a company can do a better job than the previous then the better company should get the contract. This is different in the sense that they are different company's not a faction of a company willing to fly the route for less money while the other half of the company refuses to.[/quote]
Our contract was not up UA declared bankruptcy and Hulas and Orienstien swooped like vultures over ACA, Air WI routes. That is capitalisim.
I am not trying to change your mind. Hate all you want. You guys can form gangs and have death matches on the ramp at Ohare for all I care.
But point all of that venom where it belongs, Hulas who porked you, or your union who did nothing about it.

Oh yea, all United Express flying is Mainline United Flying. I'm sure United LOVED the idea of running 737's from ORD-MKE or ORD-MSN or ORD-MLI
All of the routes that are flown by express carriers, ESPECIALLY the 50 or 66 seat jets are just that, EXPRESS.
When you get to EMB-190's or CRJ-900's, then MAYBE that can enter the arguement of "that's United Flying"
I'm surprised people aren't saying "The Dash-8 flying or EMB-120 turboprop flying is mainline pilots flying as well!"

So let me guess, how long have you been in the airline industry ? 2-3 years.when you go on your 5th airline then you can talk. And what is the definition of a scum? cause TSA pilots are scums cause they took my flighing when I was at eagle, and I am sure some ACA/Indep Air have few things to say about that. So before you open your mouth be respectfull to the people and guys that lost JOBS because TSA scums.Get It ?

When going to ORD I like to eat at this place in the F gates down towards the end. I always see some Go jetters there. They don't seem to be ashamed in any way, they got big wing patches on their jackets chit chatting with each other. Is that their gates down there something?
That is exactly the point, they are chattering with only each other.

oh come on foxcow, they chat with others, until the other people realize who they've been talking to.

I'm willing to bet that around 80-90% of all GoJet guys had NO CLUE when they interviewed/started training the type of rep their company had. How many of you guys would've known about GoJet's rep if you didnt find this forum? I've come across numerous people who were thinking about applying to Mesa/GoJets etc, and had no clue about the rep their prospective airline...you can make the argument that they didnt do their research etc. I'm no GoJet advocate by any means, but they're people too (people make mistakes), and they deserved to be treated with some sort of human dignity.
