Well, it's not 100%, but I'd say 99%. The odds are stacked very much against you if you don't have a four year degree. You don't need that working against you.

In the meantime, don't compare mesaba's contract, signed years ago, to a contract ratified recently.

yeh soldierboy, like stated earlier the degree will make you competitive with everyone else, without, you will be behind the power curve.

I know that the people on here might sound somewhat "jaded" or upset about gojet, which, most are very upset, but for valid reasons. Airline pilots are for the most part pretty unified, this business is rather small, and it's not uncommon (at all) to run into people that you've met and introduced yourself to before while running around the terminals. I essentially look at all the other pilots as "brothers in arms" if you can say that, however, the individuals over at Gojet are not in that same league, and many others (as you've noticed) do feel the same.

As far as places to go, that changes with the wind. Places not to go however would be Gojet at the top of the list. Mesa is somewhere behind it, not because Mesa pilots are hated, but because the company will abuse the hell outta you. I'm sure Trans States would find its way into the top 5 also, and then there are some others, but it differs on opinion.

You have proven you have no idea what went on other than the fact that you went to blojets and are still trying to validate your pathetic excuses as to why you decided to go there. So, please, blah blah blah me all you want... At the end of the day, Dario, myself and MANY other pilots can look at themselves in the mirror every day and, though we may be an ugly lot, can be proud to have stood up and held our part of a line that keeps sinking back and deeper into lower pay scales, worse working conditions and the perpetual undercutting of our peers...I honestly don't think you can do the same.

I just threw up in my mouth. Care to enlighten all of us that don't work for Mesaba how their contract is worse than G7??? This guy HAS to be flamebait.

Never at GJ. Was flying for eagle though. You and Dario have done nothing to help TSA. And if you are Shawn Keith I can publish few stories bout you and your wife going from TSA to AT and what happends there. See boy you have no idea what really happend. Dario pretended to be someone that is not. Call him and ask him what happend to him in JB and ask him who he send letters and apologized about what he have caused and done. YOU HAVE NO IDEA what really happend. Remember you took a job in TSA for 20 USD an hour. You have already undercut others. As far as looking my self in the mirror believe me no problem there.
