Sorry, I just thought that since he said "for now" that maybe there was something in the works for 50 seaters. I know I "could just go here, and write the numbers down yourself........and compare" but anybody could've have just done that as well for widebody, narrowbody, and small narrowbody before this document was made. It is a convenient way of looking at rates side by side!

I wouldn't go so far as saying that hourly pay doesn't mean "much when calculating actual pay" but there is something to be said for work rules that are able to be changed at the whim of management as well.

Never said that, its pretty obvious thats not true. But like someone else said, when your management can change those rules on a whim, you better be careful...I mean they just stopped interviews. Its could only be a matter of time till management comes to you and says "we've had to take away X because it's too expensive" and then what?? And when those "bonuses" stop coming or are reduced because you're the level of flying has been reduced, guess what, you're making about the same as MESA!

Also, its the point that skypest really isn't raising the bar when your hourly wage is the same as a bottom feeder. You might make more soft money, but when you accept such low wages, how is the next guy suppose to fight for better pay when their management can say "well, skywest just accepted this pay scale, and its the same as mesa's." It makes it REALLY tough.

It's sad, really. Freight Dog and the rest of the APC team work hard to provide value for us pilots, and some of us whine in response to his and other APC peoples' efforts. Hopefully some of you have reconsidered your whining and will take a new approach.

You are definitely correct about work rules, however; with all of the double time being credited to Mesa captains this year (via JRA and VOL) you would be very surprised at how much they are pulling down. Quite a few guys are billing out 130-140 credit hours per bid period.
