Well if the SkyWest SOP said run into another airplane, almost all of our pilots would do it. Our captains would rather go around than put the gear down before flaps 20 on the CRJ. I mention this because I have seen other airlines putting the gear down before flaps when it is NECESSARY and you have been slam dunked.
On the bro, the flaps 15 speed is 200 per Embraer. However, for MX reasons I guess, SkyWest doesn't put them in until 180. I always enjoyed the captains who said, "you are a few knots fast" when I would ask for flaps 15. Almost every time, the airspeed indicators were 2-3 knots different!
