Why do you have a training contract, what if I want to quit, I probably can't afford it? [so you're stuck working for one of the worse companies in the US]

Does your airline have the best mx around? [no we routinely operate with 4+ MELs per jet]

Why are you being sued twice in Hawaii? [because we lie, and cheat- that's the unethical mesa way]

Do employees enjoy working for JO? [no, Mesa has one of the worst corporate cultures in the industry]

Will going to work for Mesa be good for the airline pilot profession? [no, we drag the industry down by undercutting pilots at other airlines that make more and are home with their families more than 8 days a month]
I think you've forgotten where you started your regional airline career. Either that, or you just forgot to ask the important questions at the interview.

Warm body and a pulse are the prerequisites.

Christ, these were the types of idiots that made flying there unbearable. Defending their 8 days of and industry leading low pay because of the quick upgrade. Fortunately there were few of these and obviously most were new upgrades.

We have to try though. Bottom feeding is not a good thing. We have to get this thing turned around somehow. The NMB will never let us strike and burn it down, and the sloppy beeotch will stumble along through whatever bankruptcy eventually occurs... so what choice do we have but to fight the fight the best way we know how. Of course ALPA doesn't have the huevos to bring illegal work actions and what good would that do anyhow? Didn't do PATCO no good in the 80's did it? Just keep the attrition high for now I guess. The only problem with that is the company actually wants to shrink right now and get rid of the 200's and 145's. So attrition is actually helping them do that. *sigh*

Pilot84 is obviously in the advanced stages of SJS! He can feel that shiny jet, he can taste that shiny jet. He smells it and he wants it bad. The fact that 100% of the Mesa posts here are NEGATIVE and EVERYBODY has warned him to stay away mean NOTHING. He's as good as there.

84, son, you are NOT ready for this. If you have a 121 training failure on you may never get another chance. I work at Eagle and so many of the low-time hires wash out of training, it's amazing. These guys are scarred for life! Many will never get another 121 job again.

He will soon see that Mesa has no shiny jets...just old dingy, not taken care of, dirty, MEL filled ones.
