Whats the downside at Comair, I knew some stuff with upgrade was going around but anything to add?

Long reserve (~1+ year), long upgrade (~5.5 years), Loosing about 14 -200s this year....

Read the 'big' Comair thread, you'll find a lot of information. It's like a freakin' book:D

Glad I got out of JFK in Sept, based there a month and flew a 4 day worth 4:57, since Oct 1 in cvg, over 330 hours, must be the base.

That's 'cause JFK ain't a base, it's a transfer station:p

So, if you had to make a choice, out of the two, would you say Comair or ASA? I think ASA is all out of ATL, which I would think is better than JFK, not sure about CVG.

Never worked for ASA cannot make an informed opinion.

Which one has "better" qualities? Bases isnt a problem since I live in Miami.

I dont quite meet the mins for Comair but I do have 121 SIC experience, any chance they might lower them for the experience? If not ASA will do but regardless gotta compare the two....any feedback is good.

Thanks AFX Armed

Smells like someone payed a lot of money to play airline at Gulfstream. How's my aim?

It's all a crap shoot, but given how things are today, go to ASA.

:DGuys, we need more people at Comair. The more people below us the better for us. Go to Comair dude, it's great here.:D

Ive been flying on reserve at Comair since November and already have about 300 hours in the jet. I've only bid to fly one month so far. I'm CVG Based so i guess the basing has a lot to do with it, I hear the JFK guys are sitting a lot.

If you can live in base (jfk) then go to a place you can live in base......... comair is not that bad.....ecspec if you can live in base....otherwse enjoy commuting to atl
