From what I've heard, aside from the strike, the RJDC isn't making us look any better to many DL folks...

After that, you will rack up about 80 hours of block time per month. You will probably have an easier commute from MIA to ATL. Good luck!
Ehhhhhhhhhhh no, 10 month guys are still sitting reserve on the 200. ATR Fo's are frozen untill august so guys will be on reserve there for over a year assuming they don't add more lines. Unless we get more jets all A/C will be around a year to hold a line. I have heard that the 700 reserve FO's get alot of flying.

Don't forget they cancelled the last prelimnary awards and we don't know when they will be upgrading again. isn't industry wide stagnation awesome!

That is correct , I am in my 9th month here at ASA , on the 200 , and I am still about 40 numbers from holding a line, onn reserve , i only flew 42 hours last month, and that is on short call....all aircraft esp. with the ATRs leaving, will be about a year on reserve as it stands now, however it could change fast and be shorter, when i first started it was 1-2 mo. rsv on the 200 , and now its like a 10-12mo rsv. I I have had a good experience here at ASA thus far, and i commute (from BOS) , I have friends at Comair who ve been there 3+ years and now upgrade in sight, they are looking to go elsewhere currently, but do whatever makes you have the best QOL. I do know that they South Florida commute to ATL can be VERY tough. good luck in your decision!
