For anyone who has flown the B1900...
I have a dumb question.
Why in the world does every Beech 1900D have white rotating (flashing) beacons? Every other beacon on every other airplane I have ever seen has been red. I have asked around quite a bit, but have yet to get an answer. Any Beech 1900 experts out there? My 1.7 hours in the airplane hardly qualifies me as an expert... anyone with a little more time in type than me care to chime in?
Does anyone know? Any good guesses? Any funny sarcastic answers?
Kansas... you know the answer right? Thanks buddy.

A Baron... really? Not that I don't believe you, but I have never seen any other aircraft. Anyone else ever seen a white beacon?

Not that anyone would care about the poor old Shorts but they had White or red depending on the plane. Sometimes the motor would stick and you'd enter a cloud or haze at night and have a light shining off to one side or the other.
