They might give you a conditional offer that'll be good once you get 50 or 100 hrs of multi. Then they might want you to go to Vero Beach for that RJ transition course. But that's just my guess.

Soooo you're saying it would have been better to have declared bankruptcy rather than slash wages and not declare? That makes good business sense.

I think the best airlines out there demonstrate their worth by making it through times like these.

I also think your mad at yourself for working for United, given the current management, and what's happened since 9/11. I can't blame you.
Mad? I am not mad. But I would be sad if I worked at a ***** outfit like Mesa and flew a barbie jet for $60/hr as captain. Heck, I would be downright depressed. Especially with all the hiring coming to a halt.

There is an open house in LGA on sat. I am planing to go but i am not sure if it is worth the effort. I am a CFII with 650 tt , 500 pic, 4 year degree in aviation management and a dismal 25 multi. the multi is my issue. the plane I was planing on using for time building had a nose gear collapse a few days ago. is there any one who would know if AE would consider me with out the required multi? i sent them an email no response.

Not worth the effort? Do you want an airline job or not? Lot of effort goes into becoming an airline pilot. Sometimes that effort goes unnoticed and you can get furloughed after training is completed. It can happen...

I think you should go. There are people in my class with numbers like you. You will most likely be sent to a third-party ground course for CRJ transition training because of your time.

I am 3 of 7 weeks in of training and I am fairly certain there are people in my class with similar flight time. Go for it. It seems all you have to work out is time off from your current work and a round-trip air fare.

With that said...Dont hold me accountable for them saying "sorry". AE is a little more interested in lower time pilots then when I took my interview on Feb 6th.

You have to go to www.airlineapps.com It can be a pain in the @#$ but it is free (opposed to airline apps other programs). www.americaneaglecareers.com

I hope I helped.
