Why wouldn't you want to go to an airline where you have to pay to commute on company and be an FO indefinatly. Honestly if I'm going to spend that long in the right seat I want to live in domicile and make over $40 an hour after first year... oh wait there is only one regional where that would happen...

Actually at QX the payscale you are paid at isn't which aircraft you're flying, it's which one your seniority could hold. I'm on the 400 and probably won't see $39/hr until 2.5 years seniority, probably 3.5-4 years to make RJ pay.

With the current state of the economy/industry people are predicting the cutbacks in flying and you can see it starting with Delta a bit. Upgrade times will most likely go up everywhere. I think American Eagle won't be the only FO trap anymore. Aside from the upgrade time Eagle is a decent company.
I think for those who can choose and live in base it would be a great place to go as long as your not dying to sell your soul to go to a major. You'll definitely be flying, the FO pay is consistent if not slightly above the industry average and again if you can choose to live in base then what is better?
