The displacement cancellation is the biggest sign we've had in a long time that something positive is about to happen.

Who ever said good news couldn't be found at the bottom of a glass...?

Hey caribpilot,
Do you currently fly in the Caribbean, or is that a future goal? I just posted a thread asking if anyone knew of jobs in the Caribbean!

No, Im currently employed by ASA. The Caribbean is only where I'm from.

Nobody has any inside information??? O COME ON!.....Someone must've heard something from their daughter's preschool teacher's husband's landscaper's milkman!!! (Not sure if apostrophes are correct)

Yeah not so much going on. Of course rumors about what we're not getting...

I did hear a few about non-schedule related things:

-The new concourse lounge will have TVs to track buses (yay)

-First flights of the day will occasionally take planes from the A-Tech hangar over by FlightSafety. You'll park there (when the lot is done), duty in and repo your plane to the gate.
-This one was also accompanied by one that suggested Macon would be closed as an MX base.

-Also, once the lounge and new lot are finished, there will be a bus direct from one to the other.

That's all I've got. Thanks to the blue bird on the shoulder of bigfoot standing next to the rumor mill..

I know you guys are very excited about the possibility of getting those 900's from freedom. Please dont get to excited though. We were excited at comair when Freedom was supposed to be done flying erj's(because we got all the flying in jfk) and they are back next month. If you think Johnny O is gonna let those things go without the courts being involved your crazy. So be happy they may come just dont expect it to be within the next several months.

Recently Mesa chief executive Jonathan Ornstein told employees the CRJ900 dispute would also have "to wind its way through the courts".
