Not that I expect anything to happen in the near future, but JO will have a bit more trouble getting an injunction on this one. Mesa will lose a bit of profit by losing the 900s, but it's not like they own them and would have to suddenly have to pay the leases an airplanes they're not using.

You guys realize that bid cancellation was only 1% of ASA's pilots and or two percent of the captain side. In all honesty I think the staffing models were off by a couple percent at ASA or delta forgot about a few flights. 1 or 2 % change in pilot staffing positions doesn't constitute any large orders nor does it signify that people will be going to cr9 training. Remember Delta has limited cr9 aircraft in their scope. That's a good thing because most people would rather work at delta, I know I would.

Now what would be better is Major airline hiring. That would cause us all to move up much faster then any AC orders. Say Delta was hiring 500 a year, American 700, CAL 500 etc. NO ONE WOULD GIVE A ____ ABOUT CR900 AIRCRAFT.

I'm not saying the rumors will never come true. I'm sure one might come true someday, but seriously If ASA was to be getting some new large order we would probably have ramped up a little bit in training and wouldn't be offering COMA and leaves of absence. 5-6 CR900 aircraft could be staffed by the pilots ASA already has. You will not move up because we are soooo overstaffed.

Where did all this 900 talk come from? Honestly I never even hear anything in crew lounges or flightdecks about getting 900's. No one really cares about those things. More airplanes would be nice and that has been expressed quite often but we are all pretty happy that we have jobs and are still having fun.

Kind of off topic:

Anyone know if ASA has a training cost contract? Two year agreement or something like that? Came up in a discussion I was having and don't really know where to look for a reference...
