With all due respect the thread starter was asking to join this profession with a wife and kids and from what he was saying they don't make much. All some of us whiners have done is try to make them think about the not so glamorous side of aviation if there is glamor to begin with. 17 pages is not going to change his mind but at least he's going to think about it.

I love my job, I have a ton of free time to play World of Warcraft, and Call of Duty 4.
+Gas is so cheap now, I can go cruising down to the local mall, and hang out since it is so close to the airport. Wish we had ready reserve with a longer report time!

I kinda doubt it. You know what it means when you look at the OP's screen name and it's not blue? It means they didn't post for over a year and the database dropped him. He's long, long, gone....

Yeah most of the local high schools get out at around 2:30, pretty early from when I went to school. I just go sit myself at Asia Chao, and watch the high school girls, they seem to be the same age as I remember, despite myself getting older, fatter, and balder.
