Express Jet furloughing 350 pilots?
#11
Hey,
I dont think I said anything about a "good source". Hence the confirmation request on the first post. If it is not the case, then good, no need for there to be 350 pilots out of an airline.
Thats why I air it out publicly, so that someone can jump in and say "thats not happening"...
Anyways, if anybody has more info please, lay it out...
Cheers!

I am on the webcast and no furloughs were mentioned. With the current economic environment we (whole airline industry) all need to be concerned about our jobs. Make sure you have a back-up plan, save money and, enjoy it while you can.

Until I receive a certified letter or a singing nude telegram telling me not to show up to work, I'm not listening to furlough rumors. I'd hate to get a missed trip because someone on the internet said I was furloughed.

Make sure you have a back-up plan, to the back-up plan with a ten percent fudge factor ... and a sugar mama. Be ready to sell your organs on the black market if need be. The spleen is highly overrated.
