"This is beautiful, what is that velvet"
great movie, to be honest if I get furloughed, I will take some time and maybe try something else for the time being, could be a blessing in disguise, I know one day I would come back to 121 flying, so I wouldn't be away too long
Maybe Ill even start a band, and name them "Sexual Chocolate"

You know that's the name of Dennis Rodman's boat right? I've seen him trying to park that thing at the fuel dock in Newport Harbor... A funny sight to say the least.Originally Posted by SAABaroowski

Saab is not in that group, I would be close to it though. Originally Posted by Paok

However, we don't have any furlough announcements yet, and it appears that we would get some more COLA offers before then. Last time they offered COLA's from April-July, they went pretty senior in most bases, except the west coast where everyone got them that wanted one. I requested a month off but could not get it.
As of right now, the Skywest offer would put us down to 2100 pilots, while staying independent would be a lot better in the worst case scenario (Branded getting pulled).

I think the number quoted was 2150 for the 205 covered aircraft under the CAL CPA. It also did not include the LAX flying or the charter ops that is going through review under due diligence. I don't think they are trying to throw away profitable venues. It appears they just want to get rid of the unprofitable "at-risk" flying. The number that comes to mind is the 31 branded jets. Also they said that if they were able to find flying for the 31 to 51 jets that was profitable they would pursue that. Just my take after listening to it twice.Originally Posted by tpersuit
