Went on a FAM flight with them the other week ,great people at Airnet. But the flying want for me. Im already in a hiring pool at a regional so I'm going to just wait it out and flight instruct. Glad I did decide to be a CFI or I would be so screwed right now.

 

Anyone else that interviewed on 6/17 heard back yet? I just got the news that I'm now in the pool, sea, ocean.... whatever. By the time they call again I think might have already swum back home to the teal blue waters of the South Pacific.

 

Except if its to Kiwi land then its the COLD teal blue waters! (Aussie perspective)

hey guys...just got to CVG...training starts tomorrow!! yay!! i wasn't able to get on my flight this morning because delta cut back on my route as part of their new schedule...luckily i got on the last flight out...wasn't able to get upgraded to first class but snagged a seat in the last row next to the lav...i wish they didn't downgrade from a 767 to md88 on this route....i had a cup of coke...i asked for the full can but the flight attendant said "hell no who do you think you are we have to save as much money as we can"....so i asked for light on the ice and she overflowed that thing with so many cubes.....so after i enjoyed my two full sips and my wonderfull biscoff we landed in ATL where my connecting mesa flight to cvg was to leave...after being delayed for 14 hours we finally got to CVG....the hilton hotel van picked me up and now i am getting ready to sleep so i can wake up in time for my first day of class!!

oh wait! this didn't happen because my class got cancelled a few days before i was suppose to leave!!!!.........oh well.....instead im sitting on the beach enjoying a corona and checkin out the breezies...ahhh summertime and livins' easy....thanks comair!

 

You had me until the part about Mesa flying you from ATL to CVG...

 

its funny that the quicktake was updated to say the last class was June 30....sorry man, i was on the 7th..

i am looking to get out of this industry before i get in i think!!
