currently there are 3 hotels comair utilizes in CVG, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Radisson. Hotel accomodations are single occupancy. If you get the Hilton, alot of things are within walking distance, if you get the Radisson, it's in downtown Covington, alot of bars, clubs etc...within walking distance, if you get Holiday Inn, its in the middle of nowhere.

I was put in the 14th class first and then Art called me few days later and told me there was an opening for the 7th so I took it.

So it seems like July 21st is the last scheduled class date. Does anyone know of anything for sure past this date. Looks like for those of us in the pool it might be late July or August until we find out when we start training, however, that is just speculation. This hiring pool thing, will people get pulled out of the pool randomly for class dates or do you think it will go in order from when they interviewed?

I talked to Art this morning and he told me that I was hired, but would be placed into a pool. I asked if he had a timeframe for a class date and he said that at this time he did not and that they were trying to figure out Delta's needs. He mentioned that this morning they had received some new information, but could not tell me what that was (I'm assuming it wasn't good information or we would have a training date).
Anyway, I'm happy that I got the job (tentatively) and now just hope that whatever it is that they need us for pulls through.

can anyone else confirm if they have been put in a pool? maybe they are still going to have a small july 7th class, cause i have not received a call. i interviewed on the 4th of june, got the call for a class on the 7th, so im hoping if i was one of the first ones to fill that class i might be able to make it in if they keep a class of 5 or 6. time to cross fingers and pray
