Ask ASA pilots how they would feel about not joining seniority lists. :) If you ask me they should have been merged at the time of acquisition. Yes, it sucks sometimes for us not being able to 'trade' basis, but I am sure that would have been the desire of some SKW or ASA pilots too..

Thanks to the MEC at ASA finally being able to secure a CBA. You think SKW pilots would have got a raise without it?

We got our raise before they did. It sure looked like their scale was based on ours, not vise-versa. They got a little extra to cover union dues.

You got your raise before them? Or did you get your raise before them, but after their CBA was negotiated and it took effect?

Regardless, our raise was actually spurred on by the failed union vote and not ASA's CBA. The timeline was purely coincidental, besides you can see how much their TA helped us due to the fact that we already had everything they now have with the exception of a few more $ per hour. It seems that our pay and QOL "policies" helped them more than their CBA helped us.

Take a look at the timeline and you’ll see that the SKW pay negotiations spiked shortly after the failed vote.

Well, Rick is somewhat right. Mgmnt does a great job pulling the wool over most of our eyes by saying that SAPA, who’s salaries are paid by Mgmnt and not by the pilots, works for us and that they actually negotiated the rates. When in fact the only part of the process we get to be a part of is voting yes or no, in which case this pilot group has proven that they will only vote yes when it comes to a pay proposal, even if it's only 1%. Also keep in mind that SAPA only gets to negotiate when Mgmnt tells them what they can negotiate for and when they can negotiate for it, in other words, they are puppets and nothing more. Even Tony “Dubbya” (LOL) will attest to the fact that when Mgmnt is done they are done and neither SAPA nor we pilots have any say in it.

But, as for our new pay policies, they came to pass due to the failed union vote and not ASA’s CBA.
