Go to the ALPA website, log in, go to the MEC page, click on crewmember links & resources, look around a little and you will find the interactive seniority list. You can slip your number in, and see where you will end up seniority wise at other bases.
Hope this helps.

just about anybody hired in the last 12 months, probably should consider themselves lucky to have even had the chance to go to a part 121 training program. The last time the airlines hired such low time pilots, (and it was only a few airlines that did) was back in the 60's.

If American Eagle gets minimized so will other regionals like Skywest. NWA/DAL has already made their intentions that they intend to keep their regionals manageable.

This may have already been mentioned....
However, first off, what is good for one isn't good for another. We at TSA are screwed with potentially 100 pilots furloughed because of this, while the Eagle guys are happy. No hard feelings at all to the Eagle guys, its just the way life works and we'll suck it up.
However, we operate 16 AA airplanes, with 10 gone soon, our AA operation will be about the same as our Airways operation. However, this may???? be a good thing because it loosens AA's grip on us as regards that 50 seat scope clause. Perhaps if we ditch AA flying, we can begin to get 70 seaters on the TSA side, merge seniority lists with GoJet (that will be a big cluster to arrange) and operate primarily as a United feeder. But, then again, if United goes TU, we're done.

It's actually a TWA contract with a merger clause. When AA bought TWA, our contract was allowed to run it's course (which confuses a lot of Eagle guys who seem to think it's "their" flying but that's another story). If there was a performance issue (which there isn't) they could drop us that way. Or if AA goes into bankruptcy, they could drop us that way. The reason TSA is being dragged over the coals is because they have actual AMR aircraft that they're using. Our aircraft are either ours or part of a third party lease (the bank owns them). AMR can't just retire some of their airplanes and take some of ours to replace them because they're not their airframes and never were.
The common feeling is that both parties will part ways when the contract is up in 2013ish.

As long as you have 1 airplane on contract to AMR, you are limited to 50 seats. If Eagle takes their 10 planes, you'll still have six planes too many to get bigger planes. Besides, you don't want bigger planes, and the sooner the newer generation of pilots realize this, the sooner you'll understand that the company will get the bigger planes one way or another. They can either create more crappy jobs at places like TSA, or they can create more mainline jobs.... which would you rather have?
