A 4/12 pay cap that was staggered over the next few years instead of taking effect right away. Anybody outside of the 4/12 would not have a snap back.

That is just for starters. There was more but they absolutely improved their offer for Envoy.

In regards to Piedmont, it's like I said before: Their biggest asset is their pilots. At the end of the day AA needs those pilots regardless of which aircraft they are flying. In other words: Piedmont is NOT going anywhere regardless of how you vote. Just as Envoy IS NOT going anywhere.

A NO vote by Piedmont may, JUST MAY put both airlines (Piedmont and Envoy) back in the driver's seat and bring enhanced contract proposals. On the other hand, a YES vote by Piedmont would just drag out these horrible PSA style contracts for the next decade.
A no Vote "May" shut down the airline of only 300 pilots. Hard to replace them?? hahahahah Hello Airwiskey! We'd like to extend our current contract for 5 more years. Replacing an airline with 25 year old Dash's and only 300 pilots is kinda easy. Nothing compared to Envoy. Plus you guys had a get out of jail free card! How many senior guys that are now at American would've voted NO if they didn't have the flow in there pocket?? I remember a bunch saying, "screw it! shut it down! We'll just Flow!" PDT people don't have that luxury!!
And So basically Eagle was gonna get all the E-175's??? Where did that leave PDT people?

This vote will pass..... It's time PDT people look after PDT people.

Just to clarify, ALPA, and more specifically, the MECs made up of your own line pilots (not you specifically but in the broader sense). If someone sold anyone down the river a few years ago, it was the MECs members who did that. You can call the union bananas for all I care, but that won't change the fact that it's the MEC who are made up of line pilots that do these things. And ultimately, it's the regular line pilot who agrees to it by voting these things in.

In other words, ALPA isn't some bogie man you can always put the blame on of you don't like something. It's you and me and all the other regular line pilots who make up ALPA. So far, you've had xjt, rah, env, and silver all vote down bad deals. This wasn't ALPA did that. That was 10,000+ regular line pilots who did that!

At xjt, management has backed off from concessions.

And the JNC told us that that first offer was as good as it was going to get by the way.

i know 20 guys that voted yes for the 16 year contract and they flowed to AA in 30 months, while the rest of us lived out the contract. Your point is?

Beebee, Moak, or whoever is next CANNOT tell your MEC what to do. And they CANNOT force you to vote yes. That was my point. Don't blame ALPA, blame ourselves.

Isn't that what PDT is worried about? PDT only has 350 pilots with 25 year old props. They can be replaced in a month without a hiccup in the system. The threat worked against PSA, but I think it'll work even better on PDT. There's a reason why PDT is the last to be approached by the new AA. "Throw us a bone AA!" That's what my friend at PDT said about the general sentiments over there. Either way I wish you guys the best. Met some very nice crew DHing or jumpseating on PDT.

"They can be replaced in a month without a hiccup in the system".

Do tell? Please explain how this would be possible??
Management just loves to exploit all those gullible enough to believe all their false threats and outright lies, really helps sway the weak minded into voting for whatever offer management throws their way!

I don't know if it's possible. I'm just stating the threat and what the current PDT pilots are worried about. But is it really that hard to replace a sub 350 pilot group? Not overnight but perhaps in a 6 month period or less.

Piedmont will have bargaining Power once this TA is signed. You except the TA get the planes and now you can have a chance to demand things.

Without this TA you have no bargaining power. Vote no and management just says okay keep operating like you are and then you can just watch the airline implode on itself.

PDT Pilots really and Truly don't have options here.
