I don't think the scaled back classes were by design. The company would prefer to have the "monster 20 person classes". Especially if you consider that we typically lose about 10% of people from indoc until the end of sims.

Oh agreed the shortage of pilots has really struck the wholly owned carriers.

Everything started with the merger and AA trying to compete with Endevour, which in reality they can't because of retention bonuses.

Well they can compete, unfortunately I don't know what the deal is, either kenji is weak or his hands are tied. But I'm sure the performance of the regionals and the wo's is a hot topic.

Yeah, I just saw sims for YYZ next week are empty... Not sure if out of new hires or just short instructors. There was a big push that started about a month ago when I got out of ground. I met a few guys from recent classes who were sent straight from CLT to YYZ. My only complaint last week was the schedule. The first couple days were fine, but then we started going 4 hours earlier each day... Kills study time and I was exhausted after the week. I think my sim partner felt the same way! Doable, just tiring. CLT now seems to be trying to catch up with MVs and LOE/LOFT rides as they are packed for next week. I have my last 2 lessons (unless we get an AD...) Thursday and Friday then wait for MV. Just ready to get in the damn seat!!! HA

I had the 1000 121, so I did get the 10K day one. The rest is split after SOE and 1 year ann, I am told. Speaking of sick.... I was sick for my AQP and pre. Managed to get through, but it was not fun... Nothing contagious, ha.

Well, we'll see! I have 0 dash time but all my other 121 was in a Saab, so that should help. Hopefully my dad never ****ed off any of the SOE guys in his 34 years there or my SOE may be a little more difficult! Ha
