Congrats man! Who did you get on with? What are your times? Did they make you give up your seniority number?

Just a heads up, Commutair is hiring for a class in January.

CommutAir

Also, I've been hearing Colgan might start doing interviews early next spring( I think you can still submit your apps online), for a class in April or May; but by then we will all be flyin 200's in PHX right? :-)

Who wants to fly for $21/hr anyway?

Or be a 10+ year FO and make less than a 2 year FO at Piedmont! Wow

According to APC (and I don't know about the accuracy of this), CommutAir's min. guarantee is 82hrs a month. You're still not making what you would at PDT, but for those guys/girls who are CLE/EWR natives and sick of commuting or crashpads, it's not as bleak as the initial math would look. Not saying that I'd be jumping ship anytime soon, but just an idea......

Colgan, you bring up a good point. I just always wonder as they draw down at-risk (prorated) SF340 flying, which has, evidently, been losing its shirt in recent years, how many of those folks can cover the open DH4 vacancies w/o hiring off the street.

Anyone have an update on the new FAA duty regs? Last I heard they were putting out the new rules next month. From there I don't know much else, however it should lead to some recalls at PDT.

Combine the new regs, with some new flying out west and we could be seeing everyone off the street by Spring, even if they eventually shut down LGA. Wishful thinking I know, but things look a lot less bleak then they did a couple months ago.

The regs will probably not become official rule until very late 2010 or early 2011, so I doubt they will be an immediate factor for anyone.
