It's been going around the last couple of days. I have heard this from several different people.

No one seems to know what it is specifically, but last week I heard from a couple of people that the new fall schedule is going to be very light and that they will be parking planes.

25 is a number I have heard. Plus the atr's and you have a hugh loss at ASA. But hey, Pinnacle gets to keep their flying.

I love the "big announcement" rumor. As if there was an importune moment to break news. And why would the tell you they were going to make an announcement? I'm just waiting for the big announcement that there is going to be a big announcement soon.

My favorite one was the "Brad came into our recurrent groundschool class and said we should know if we're getting some united flying soon" that I heard on the crew bus...

...yeah, cause United is growing like a damn weed!

It's not that United is expanding, it's that they want to give the boot to a certain Express carrier, so they need someone to take over the flying.

We need a new base...particularly an LAX base again or Salt Lake! That would definitely ease the pain a bit for my commute! I'm just wishful thinking of course, but damn...it would be sweet!

I was in a class where SH talked about United flying most likely out of IAD.
Seemed like they were really trying to get some of this flying. He did say that there would be no crewbase there. I found that odd. Anyway l, I highly doubt ASA will be getting any of that flying anyhow.

Yes, that Diet Dr. Pepper does in fact taste more like regular Dr. Pepper.
