Default Jumpseating on furlough?

Hey guys, I know you are probobly taken out of CASS once on furlough. Is it possible to still cabin jumpseat or with my ID? The reason I ask is I face a possible furlough and have an event in Asia that I would like to make....
thanks for your help

No! You have to hand in your company ID!

Maybe someone can clarify.... but if you buy an id90 now then you should be able to use it just showing your ID or passport. I have never been asked for my Company ID while using an ID90. Good luck.

Not necessarily true. Comair did not take, nor ask for my ID in 2006. I was able to sit in the cabin, however I was not able to occupy the actual jumpseat. I also sought specific permission to jumpseat before I did.

They typically take your id. You may be left with non rev priviledges, just depends.

Will they take your id? depends on the company and i think the expected duration of the furlough. XJT did not take id's after 9/11 but they have not said if they will or will not take them this time around from our bottom 400.

Pass privileges (@xjt) will be active for 1 month after the furlough start date as well

Just think you might get to Asia then not get back. Sucks my friend.

I've used ZED tickets out of NRT and I only remember showing a passport. I don't see why a ZED wouldn't work.
