So what is this going to do with the planned furloughs?

We are all often victims at the hands of management. Words like these help to remind us that we are all really on the same side, as pilots trying to do our jobs.

I'm in class for RW right now, and this certainly wasn't the "good news" I was hoping for. As much as I want to see some life out of our PIT petting zoo, doing so at the expense of screwing the good folks at Midwest is something I'm not at all excited about. I know most of the people here at RAH also share that sentiment, including the people getting furloughed.

I want to have no part in that operation when I get back online. The bitter reality is, no matter how much I avoid landings in MKE and MCI on my bid, the burden of flying these routes will still fall on the junior folks who get displaced out to MCI. I really hope our unions can forge a sound resolution.

I doubt a pilot group, which already flys 170s that are border line mainline airplanes equipped with $60/20 per hour pilots, will have any trouble gobbling up this flying.

Big words from somebody flying a CRJ-700, which are borderline mainline airplanes for even less than that.

This from a former Mesa and now GoJetter. Loss of credibility in 5...4...3...2...1

Its not about our pilot group "gobbling up" this flying. I've haven't talked to one RAH pilot over here that is remotely happy about this. Its shady, slimy and dirty.

I just realized we make more than RAH. 5 year captain at GJ makes $1 for every passenger, while a 5 year CA at Rah makes $.9 hahaha... oh boy. Hey flynavy, how do you like that Eagle flying out of MIA? At least GJ isn't flying your routes... and your airplanes

And a 12yr DAL CA only makes .69 per pax on the 777. It's called price/cost averaging and it's one of the contributing factors that show how out of touch with reality you are.

Also I have a copy of your contract that anyone can download from this website. I could go into a long drawn out intelligent post but odds are something like that would go right over your head and it'd also be a waste of my time and yours. If you've bothered looking at your contract you'll have nothing to be proud of.

Sorry I had to make an edit

I don't know where you get your 5yr figures from. A 5yr 70 seat CA makes $70 at RAH. A GoJet CA makes $66. What numbers are you looking at?
